Transaction Expands American Equipment Field Services Footprint and New Equipment Capabilities Nationwide

American equipment holdings (“American Equipment”), a Capital Rotonde Partnerholding company, acquired Plant engineering (“Facilities Engineering”), one of the industry’s most respected providers of overhead crane systems and field service solutions. For more than 50 years, Facilities Engineering has provided OSHA certified overhead crane systems and field maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services throughout the Southwest and wider United States. The acquisition of Facilities Engineering is the fifth acquisition made by American Equipment since its partnership with Rotunda in May 2021.
Based in Anaheim, Calif., Facilities Engineering will enable American Equipment to better serve its growing MRO customer base in the Southwestern United States and further strengthen American Equipment as a dominant supplier of overhead crane, hoist and parts nationwide. As part of the transaction, American Equipment also acquired FP Fabrication, a former Demag plant and one of the largest manufacturers of overhead crane systems in the western United States.
